The Sailing Vessel
WINPIPE
Beneteau 361 # 171
Winpipe is a Beneteau 361, built in 2001 by Beneteau USA in South Carolina.
She is a Canadian Federally registered vessel & was commissioned in
the port of Windsor, Ontario, in June 2001.
From the first time we stepped aboard the 361, we were convinced that
this was the boat we HAD to have, as the layout
had so much of what we wanted in a cruising sailboat.
While the 361 hull is less than a 40 ft, it has most of the standard features
(& options) of much larger boats, & easily lends itself to "modifications"
with a bit of imagination.
Since we have installed many items & improved the boat, we're often
asked about what we have done & (of course) the list keeps growing.
In order to keep track of things, we will be adding to & updating
the items below as time goes on.
