"Winpipe" based in Windsor Ontario, Canada. This website is an attempt to chronicle the events, improvements & preparations, that will lead up to the yacht heading "South" or anywhere else we may decide to take her in the future.  |
| We are Paul & Mary Ouellette,
who Captain, Crew & maintain Winpipe in order to eventually & permanently
avoid winter weather (& boredom) by sailing the boat to the East Coast,
the Chesapeake Bay, the Florida Keys, the Bahamas & eventually "down
Island" to the Caribbean. For the present, as we are tied to land based commitments, our short cruise destinations include the ports & anchorage's of Lake St Clair & Western Lake Erie. |

On some occasions, our longer cruise plans have taken Winpipe to Lake Huron and through the Welland Canal, into Lake Ontario. In the off season, we usually escape "down Island" to visit Caribbean ports, and also take road trips with our Airstream trailer to the US east coast, Florida & the Keys to become familiar with destinations that we will be sailing to in the future. |

Schnauzer Malibu aboard, we forewarn
those who visit us that she may be on "guard duty" when you arrive. As the Club Beneteau Fleet Captain's yacht, Winpipe is a participant in area Beneteau events & we are always ready to assist those who are considering bringing a new member yacht into the association.
